The technique for reconstruction of the trepanation cavity after the radical mastoidectomy comprises the restoration of the posterior bone wall of theexternal acoustic meatus with the aid of the modeled ceramic plate followed by filling the mastoid cavity with the artificial biologically inert material. For the restoration of the posterior bone wall, the modeled cortical bone of the mastoid process is used. The mastoid cavity is filled with the artificial biologically inert composite material "Synthekist" ("Synthetic bone").
