Inside the transmitter part (SPIS) of a serial peripheral interface (SPI) the signals (NEW) and (GRP) are generated, which are recognised by the receiving 32-bit microprocessor and represent a label regarding the accuracy and type of the sent data. The original information, which has been prior sending processed by an EXOR gate is at the receiving microprocessor again obtained through EXOR commands. The specified label, which has been integrated into the parity code (P) following the operation Px = P EXOR X, is removed after receipt by applying the equivalent operation P = Px EXOR X. With the help of the parity code the receiving microprocessor detects individual defective bits as a result of interference along the transmission path. It can also detect errors in the accuracy - by carrying the (NEW) signal - as well as an error in the series of the received data - by carrying the (GRP) signal.
