Product sideways diverting device has actuator arm that moves diverter arm and belt diagonally across conveyance surface to divert goods sideways from stand by position of diverter across along side of conveyance surface
The device (1) has diverter arm (9) supported pivotally on vertical axis (27) on one side of conveyance surface (3). A diverter belt (17) is supported on pulleys on upstream side (11) and downstream side (12) if diverter arm is drives along direction (18) by a motor (20). An actuator arm (30) moves the diverter arm and belt (9) diagonally across conveyance surface to divert goods sideways from stand by position of the diverter across along the side of conveyance surface.
