The invention relates to the field of teaching painting and calligraphy and can be used to improve the mastery of hand motor skills, at the same time it is aimed at training skills in counting, writing, drawing and developing other creative abilities. The problem solved by the invention is to create a method and a set for teaching calligraphic writing and drawing, free from the listed disadvantages, and allowing in addition to training to develop spatial thinking, fantasy, hand motor skills and creative abilities. The problem is solved in that, in a known method, the lines are first transferred from the stencil to paper, then the stencil is moved relative to the paper, the stencil lines are placed relative to the lines obtained on the paper, the lines are again transferred from the stencil to paper and painted on the paper after the required composition or pattern is obtained the resulting drawing. The positive effect is that the learner, using a transparent or partially transparent stencil, from the very beginning gets quite good images and therefore the classes arouse the interest of the learner, thereby developing hand motility and creative abilities.
