PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultured artificial bone or joint having high bone regeneration capacity and capable of certainly regenerating a bone for a short period of time. PSOLUTION: The cultured artificial bone or joint is characterized in that (1) cultured bone tissue is incorporated in a porous body having open voids at least one of which has a diameter of 20 μm or more, (2) mesenchymal stem cells are formed into bone tissue by the action of female hormone-like substance to be incorporated in the porous body and (3) mesenchymal stem cells are formed into bone tissue by stratified culture to be incorporated in the porous body.
