PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize the whole periphery of an opening edge part in an outer ring part in an inner diameter surface part and track groove bottom part having large working rate with a backward extrusin so as to restrain the unevenness. ;SOLUTION: A blank is preformed into a first preform W1 of a column having chamfer shape at the front end surface and a desirable diameter, with an upsetting. The first intermediate preform is formed into a second intermediate preform W2 composed of a front end small diameter part (d), intermediate tapered part (e) and back end large diameter part (f) with a frontward shaft extrusion. The second intermediate preform is formed into a third intermediate preform W3 composed of a small diameter part (g) for shaft portion and an outer circumference shaped large diameter part (h) with the upsetting. The third intermediate preform is formed into a fourth intermediate preform W4, in which the track groove surface and the inner diameter surface engaged with the rolling body in an inner ring part are alternately disposed on the inner peripheral surface in the circumferential direction and the inner diameter surface is almost matched with the desirable shape of the outer ring part forming the reverse tapered surface of widening outward at the opening edge part.
