PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate more accurate moving duration (Tl) of a vehicle in consideration of the difference of the congestion level length (congestion distance) (ln) of a congestion level.;SOLUTION: The congestion degree (Jl) in consideration of the whole object link is calculated (S2), and the anticipated travelling speed (Vn) of the vehicle is determined in each congestion level by the difference of the congestion degree (Jl) (S3). Then, the congestion level length (ln) is divided by the anticipated travelling speed (Vn) as the last step, to thereby calculate the moving duration (Tl) of the vehicle (S4). Since the anticipated travelling speed (Vn) is determined in consideration of the congestion state of the whole object link without determining the anticipated travelling speed simply in each congestion level as before, the more accurate moving duration of the vehicle can be calculated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
