PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice washing device eliminating unevenness of washing by a function to generate a convective, continuous flow of rice and water in a container.;SOLUTION: Rice is washed by recesses and protrusions provided between both rotating plates disposed on the upper part of a fixed plate the bottom. A fixing leg part is provided on the bottom surface of the fixed plate, and a flow passage for rice and water in the periphery is ensured between the fixed plate and a container. A suction opening for rice and water and a roller bearing for idling the rotary shaft are provided in the central part of the fixed plate. The recesses and protrusions for washing the rice are provided on the upper surface of the fixed plate. The recesses and protrusions functioning as rice washing and blades are provided on the bottom surface of the rotary plates. A fixing handle is provided on the rotary shaft, and the fixed plate is pressed against the bottom of the container and is fixed. A rotary handle is provided on the rotary shaft, and centrifugal force is generated by rotating the rotary plate. The rice and water in the periphery are sucked from the suction opening by the centrifugal force, and a convective, continuous flow is formed. Rice is washed by applying friction to the grains of the rice by the dented and protrusions between both plates.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
