PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability when exchanging a multi-optical axis photoelectric switch with one having a different length, and evade a large-sizing in the mounting space.;SOLUTION: A mounting fixture 20 is provided with a main body side mounting fixture 20F installed at the end part of the main body case 14, and a base side mounting fixture 20S fixed at a mounting place. The base side mounting fixture 20S is provided with a guide part 46 that makes the main body side mounting fixture 20F displaceable along the length direction, and the main body side mounting fixture 20F is possible to be held at an arbitrary position. By this, when exchanging the multi-optical axis photoelectric switch 10, a retaining position of the main body side mounting fixture 20F may be adjusted appropriately while the mounting place of the base side mounting fixture 20S is fixed at the mounting place, so that a working to install a screw hole at a mounting place at every exchanging occasion becomes unnecessary as compared with the conventional method. Furthermore, an overhang dimension of a mounting fixture 20 from the end part of the main body case 14 can be made smaller than in a conventional one, thus the large-sizing in the mounting space can be evaded.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
