PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ID number imparting program, etc., for giving an ID number to a node of data with the tree structure to be discriminated uniquely in a smaller range of values and for calculating the ID number to indicate a parent of the node from the ID number of the node.;SOLUTION: An oriented tree expressing the data structure is divided into at least two parts to make tree parts so that all nodes are included. A global number capable of discriminating one tree part among the produced tree parts is given to every node included in each tree part other than the root of the tree parts lower than the tree part, and a local number capable of discriminating one node of the tree part is also given to every node of the tree part by tree part. Further, the ID number having the global number and the local number of the node is given to every node, and the ID number indicating the parent of the node is calculated from the ID number of the node.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
