PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately calibrate the measuring result by a temperature measuring system used in a thermal analyzer for measuring items to be measured such as current, voltage, electric resistance, dielectric constant, electrostatic capacity, thermoelectromotive force, thermal stimulation current or the like related to a sample.;SOLUTION: This temperature calibrating method for the thermal analyzer is constituted so as to measure not only the temperature of a measuring sample set between electrode rods 6a and 6b in place of a reference substance 44 with a temperature sensor 34 but also the current, voltage, electric resistance or the like of the measuring sample while changing the temperature of the measuring sample. The temperature, at a time when the reference substance 44 is melted and a weight 46 cuts the reference substance 44 to fall, is actually measured as a melting temperature by the temperature sensor 34 and the temperature measured by the temperature sensor 34 is calibrated on the basis of a difference between the actually measured value and the literature value of the melting temperature of the reference substance 44.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
