PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise efficiency in performing a medical practice as a medical treatment team so as to prevent forgetting the performance of a work by giving a work instruction to a doctor or other staff by way of a server when a matter exists which is required to be performed by the team. PSOLUTION: A hospital information system is the one for performing a cooperative work by the medical treatment team which is organized to treat one patient, including a master client to be used by the doctor; a plurality of slave clients to be used by cooperative workers who receive the instruction of the doctor to perform the cooperative work with the doctor; and an information management server for storing the instruction of the master client and performance information of the slave clients. The master client is an order issuing client to be used mainly by the doctor with referring to a work management client. The doctor looks at the display state of the master client to confirm the performance state of the medical practice and the state of the patient. The slave clients are the ones to be used mainly by a nurse, a clerk, an office worker, and a scientific officer, so as to receive the instruction from the doctor and input the performance.
