PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eaves edge ventilation arabesque, a horizontally laying ventilation roof, a remodeling eaves edge ventilation arabesque, and a remodeling horizontally laying ventilation roof, superior in ventilation performance.;SOLUTION: This eaves edge ventilation arabesque 4A is arranged on a horizontally laying roof formed by laying a roof board 3 on a sheathing roof board 1 via a heat insulating backing material 2; and has integrally a placing part 5 placed on and fixed to the sheathing roof board 1, a suspending part 7 bent downward on the eaves edge side of the placing part 5, an extending part 8 further projecting outside the eaves from an upper part of the suspending part 7, and a roof locking part 9 rising from the outside end of the extending part 8.
