PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contents distribution method and a content distribution server in a new system which is suitable for a community network in which the leakage level of personal information is reduced.;SOLUTION: Presentity representing a channel for distributing information is formed on a presence service, and a virtual channel communication terminal 40 corresponding to the presentity is logically formed on an information distribution server 4. Thus, the transmission and the reception of contents between the information distribution server 4 and the user communication terminal 2, and between the user communication terminal and the user communication terminal are executed as if the transmission and the reception of the contents are executed between the presentities. Furthermore, when transmitting and receiving the contents, it is not necessary to exchange address information between the users, and to prevent the leakage of personal information accompanied by the transmission and the reception of the contents.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
