PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the prevention of sudden accidents encountered by the hospitalized patients, the prevention of the lost children, the searching for the lost children inside or outside the hospitalization facilities, the prevention of misprescription, mutual exchange of information containing the emergency signals, the unlocking of the entrances and exits and the like concerning the managing system and method for the hospitalized patients in the psychiatric area.;SOLUTION: The managing system for the hospitalized patients is equipped with controllers 10 for a patient having wireless transmitter/receiver for transmitting or receiving the patient codes and mounted on each of the hospitalized patients in the psychiatric area, a controller 20 having a wireless transmitter/receiver for transmitting or receiving the nursing staffs' codes and mounted on each of the nursing staffs, and a center unit 30 installed at a managing division of the hospitalization facility, terminal transmitter/receivers 40 each having a relay transmitter/receiver which relays and transmits or receives the patients' codes or the nursing staffs' codes between the controllers 10 for the patients or the controllers 20 for the nursing staffs and the center unit 30 and arranged being dispersed at a plurality locations in the hospitalization facility.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
