PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a promotion body for agriculture, which has prevention function of field crops from insect pests, harmful birds and harmful animals and fertilizing function without environmental pollution. PSOLUTION: The promotion body for agriculture is obtained by selecting one or more of (A) sawdust, bark and cellulose or (B) porous minerals such as charcoal, ceramic, zeolite, kaolinite or one or more from (A) and (B), combining the selected materials to give a constituent element, separately grinding each constituent element according to each kind, mixing, solidifying and forming the ground materials into a material of fixed size and shape, baking the material with a carbonization furnace or an inert kettle at 70C-200C and impregnating the baked material with an essence of essential oil of herb plant alone or a blend of a plurality of essences. The promotion body is equipped with the fertilizing function in mixing the constituent elements in the case of a solid organic fertilizer or inorganic fertilizer or in impregnation with herb in the case of a liquid fertilizer.
