PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector with small-form factors whose job-site mounting is possible, and which has a ferrule which is energized by a spring.;SOLUTION: An optical connector having small-form factors, whose job-site mounting is possible 10, is equipped with a connector housing 12 of the small-form factors having the back-and-forth directionality ; a ferrule 13 which is arranged in the connector housing 12; a fixing and assembling body 11 which is arranged in the housing 12 at the backward of the ferrule 13, and which is configured to receive and hold a terminal fiber; an elastic member 15, which is arranged in the housing 12; and a rear body 16 which is configured so as to provide a rear stopping section which can press the elastic member 15 so that the member 15 forwardly energizes the ferrule 13 and the fixing and assembling body 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
