PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately judge whether a document is an original or not even if its surface state is changed.;SOLUTION: Paper 16 useful for making a document is randomly mixed with a magnetic wire. A document information readout part 22 to be filled in the paper is two-dimensionally equipped with an antenna unit 32 integrated with an excitation coil 28 for generating an alternating field and a detection coil 30 for detecting a pulsed reply signal generated from the magnetic wire by application of an alternating field so as to make a detection means or a detection unit face detection positions preset on the paper. When a document ID is set, paper information by the detection positions and intensity of reply signal detected by the detection coil at each detection position is acquired and data obtained by two-dimensionally arranging the paper information on the basis of the detection positions are used. The document ID for accurately identifying a document is obtained by using the data and even if the surface of paper is printed with an image or stuck with a stain, whether the document is true or not is accurately determined.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
