PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PWM driving technology which can exhibit a COP high in Peltier element can be enhanced.;SOLUTION: The PWM driving device sets a PWM frequency at 100 Hz or more and modulates a driving voltage applied to a Peltier element at a pulse width. Thus, the COP of the Peltier element can be improved when compared with a conventional case of around 40 Hz, permitting a power saving effect. When the Peltier element is driven by PWM, as the PWM frequency is made higher within a saturated frequency Fs (e.g. 1 kHz) or less, a higher COP can be obtained as long as there is no inconvenience in terms of cost and noise.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
