PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for analyzing commodity power, a system for analyzing commodity power, and a device for analyzing commodity power capable of properly determining whether the specifications of a new commodity should be set as default or options without relying on a designer's experience.;SOLUTION: The device 1 for analyzing commodity power uses an effect value calculating part 12 to calculate an effect value for the level of each attribute. A characteristic quantity extracting part 13 calculates the degree of contribution of each attribute for each respondent. Further, the average value of the degrees of contribution is calculated for each attribute and a graph showing the attributes arranged in decreasing order of the average value is outputted. Furthermore, characteristic quantity data are extracted from the effect values of all the respondents. The data are also graphed for output. The graph makes it easy to distinguish between the attributes of importance and the attributes of little importance and to distinguish between the levels where the respondents show different tastes and the levels where they do not.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
