PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strong biophylactic activation agent containing an effective component which activates biophylactic function and consists of a polysaccharide component originating from a natural product, or a polysaccharide mixture consisting of the above polysaccharide or an extractives from the aboveground part of Astragalus mongholicus and Astragalus membranaceus.;SOLUTION: The biophylactic activation agent contains an effective component comprising a polysaccharide composition selected from arabinose, rhamnose, fucose, xylulose, mannose, galactose, glucose, glucuronic acid and galacturonic acid originating from the aboveground part of Astragalus mongholicus and Astragalus membranaceus or the above polysaccharides or polysaccharides originated from the aboveground part of Astragalus membranaceus.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
