PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for testing image gas-resistance for accurately and easily simulating gas resistance under actual environment for ink jet recording, silver salt photographic images, or the like.;SOLUTION: In the method for testing image gas resistance for evaluating the gas resistance of an image, by installing the image in a mixed gas atmosphere containing at least ozone and nitrogen dioxide, the image is installed in the mixed gas atmosphere under conditions (1) and (2), where the concentration of ozone in the mixed gas is 75 ppb, or higher and the concentration of nitrogen dioxide is 150 ppb or higher (1); and the mixed gas is supplied continuously onto the surface of an image sample at a flow rate of 0.2 m/s or higher and 3.0 m/s or lower (2).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
