PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for identifying the incoming direction of high-energy lines and specifying the direction of their radiation source.;SOLUTION: A collimator is made of double rings. An inside ring 2a and an outside ring 2b are arranged with a space Da, and the inside ring 2a and a ring-like one-dimensional sensor 1 are arranged with space Db. By adjusting their intervals, a distribution function of signals is adjusted. When collimation allows incidence on sensors on both adjacent sides of a unit sensor positioned at an angle of 180°, it is possible to eliminate the blind angles of incidence due to the intervals of unit sensors. This system is provided with a structure, in which a plurality of ring-like one-dimensional sensors 1 are stacked on top of each other and are extended with an opening part 3 of the outer circumferential collimator closed and determines the incoming directions from directions perpendicular with respect to the plane of the rings.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
