PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting apparatus which facilitates work for cutting off an upper section of a side-ditch body, and a repair method wherein the cutting apparatus is used, in side-ditch repairing work for excavating the periphery of the place-to-be-repaired of the side-ditch body, cutting the upper section of the side-ditch body and placing concrete etc. in an excavated section by using a prescribed edge frame body (repair member).;SOLUTION: A cutting body 4, in which a concrete cutting blade body 44 is provided at the leading end of a rotating shaft 43 suspended from a rotary driving part 42, is provided in prescribed moving machines (a traveling machine 2 and a traversing body 3) so that a position, where a cutting edge of the cutting blade body 44 bites into the wall surface of a side ditch in the side-ditch body A, can be selected, and so that the cutting body can advance along the side ditch while cutting the wall surface of the side ditch by means of the cutting blade body.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
