The seat has a rigid belley pan (10) covered by padding units (11, 12). The lower side of the belley pan has, along groove tread corresponding to an anti-submarining bump (14), two reinforcement units (20) limiting the deformation of the anti-submarining bump in case of impact. The reinforcement units are disposed in abutment on the underlying floor pan (8) in case of the impact.
