Collector box for heat exchanger, has collar cooperating with body neck comprising male section arranged for being introduced in female section of collar, where sections temporarily maintain neck on box before and during brazing of neck
The box has a collar (30) surrounding an opening and cooperating with a body neck (36). The neck has a connection end (38) with a male section (46) arranged for being introduced in a female section (48) of the collar. The male and female sections temporarily maintain the neck on the box before and during brazing of the neck. The sections (46, 48) are fabricated in the form of a bead and groove, respectively. An independent claim is also included for a heat exchanger comprising a collector box.
