The process involves applying a set of decorative outer layers (120) as wide covering on hollow parts (112) without protecting a front side (111) of a furniture panel e.g. door panel. The layers are applied by utilizing a gun which performs to and fro movements in the direction of the panel. The front side is rubbed down after drying, and another set of decoration layers is applied on the front side and is allowed to dry. An independent claim is also included for furniture comprising a panel obtained by a furniture panel decoration process.
