The method involves collecting total or partial air sent by a respirator with blower protecting device (1), on an exit of a side part (22) that does not have a valve, via an inner concentric duct (9). A centralized computer system (19) permits to analyze and measure characteristics of the air that is then recycled, where recycling operation is used in controlled sequences of filter replacement operation. The characteristics are measured to control the operation of the protecting device. An independent claim is also included for a respirator with blower protecting device.
