Acoustics system for e.g. automobile, has digital signal processor and head relative transfer function coefficient determination unit providing two audio signals that are coherent in phase and amplitude
The system has a sound source (211) to produce a source audio signal. A digital signal processor (213) and a head relative transfer function (HRTF) coefficient determination unit (214) effectuate two distinct filtering of the signal to provide two audio signals, each associated with speakers (22-26), such that the audio signals are coherent in phase and amplitude.
