The card has a correspondence table (16) and a dispatcher (26) that constitute a prohibiting unit which prohibits an execution of application on specific functions according to an execute permission information. The specific functions are chosen from a set of functions that is stored in an electrically erasable programmable ROM (15). The execution of the application on the other functions remains authorized. An independent claim is also included for a process for communication between a chip card and an outer entity.
