The tool has a return device (30) with a lever (31) for moving a pusher-piston (15) from an end position to an initial position. The device has a damping unit (44) to dampen vibrations of the lever during an impact of the lever on a support portion. The lever has a rear side (36) contacting with a bearing surface (46) of the damping unit. The bearing surface has a contour corresponding to a contour of the rear side of the lever.
