The device has a grinder (12) for grinding and projecting units e.g. vine shoot, into a discharging duct (18). The duct is placed above and behind a case (16). A storing unit (20) for storing the vine shoot is placed above the grinder. Deflection unit (22) permits discharging of the vine shoot into the unit (20). The unit (22) is provided above the duct orienting the vine shoot towards front, in the direction of the unit (20).
