Crimp connector for electrically conductive tube, has electrically insulating ring, sealing joint and protection ring housed in orifice to prevent direct contact between tube and connector before crimping
The connector has an orifice (4) for insertion of an electrically conductive tube (3) and having a stopper (13). An electrically insulating ring (14), a sealing joint (18) and a protection ring are housed in the orifice to prevent direct contact between the tube and connector before crimping. The protection ring has a protection edge whose diameter is reduced till a value equal to an outer diameter of the tube. An independent claim is also included for a method of verification of a crimping of an electrically conductive tube.
