The method involves decomposing a diffusion cone into a number of diffusers, where the diffusers are associated with incidence and deviation parameters. Guiding vectors associated to the diffusers are combined to obtain a vector depending on incidence and deviation parameters or on a combination vector. A MUSIC criteria or any goniometry algorithm is applied to the obtained vector to determine an incidence parameter of the associated cone.
