The device includes a ventilator generating a flow of respiratory gas under pressure, and a mask (420) for permitting a patient to receive the respiratory gas. The ventilator is integrated in a removable module (20) which consists of sensors that acquire parameters representative of the functioning of the ventilator and the flow of the respiratory gas.
