Bone characteristics testing device, has transmission head that moves between inactive position in relation to distal end of extended support, and active position in which it emits ultrasounds
The device has a head (4) for transmission of ultrasounds and reception of reflected ultrasounds. An extended support comprises the transmission head and permits the insertion of the head in a bone to be examined. The rotation axis of the head is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the support. The head moves between an inactive position in relation to a support distal end, and an active position in which it emits ultrasounds.
