The process of the invention, employed for the images of the weather radar, ensures the dynamic cloud masses, in particular to provide their evolution. It essentially consists in establishing the skeleton of each mass cloud, for a plurality of images which are spaced apart in time, to determine the displacement vectors of the segments of the skeletons vectorized, and, by extrapolation, to reconstruct the predicted skeletons.
