Method for securing paving slabs especially for roadways with adjustable tensile braces under the slabs linking profiled grips at the edges of the paving and with studs locating into bores in the underside of the slabs
A method for securing paving slabs, e.g. to prevent displacement by vehicular traffic has tensile stays positioned under the paving and linking profiled grips over the edges of the paving. The tensile stays are fitted with threaded adjusters set through sleeves positioned under the edge slabs via lateral pegs locating into holes bored into the underside of the slabs. The threaded adjusters are operated by nuts accessed at one edge of the paving. The wire stays are attached to L or C-shaped grips over the outer edge of the pacing and are fitted with threaded stock locating into the sleeves fitted under the inner edge of the paving.
