The apparatus includes an image pick-up camera device (10) for detecting an image with a viewing angle that is larger than that of the user. A display (40) displays the picked-up image. An image correction device (32) corrects distortion and reproduces a perspective in the image, so that it can be displayed. The display preferably sweeps through the image, and tracks a moving object.
