Heat-cold coupling, using a gas centrifuge, has flow channels with structured flow cross sections to prevent inner turbulence and build up heated fluid in layers at the outer mantle of the rotor
For heat-cold coupling, using a gas centrifuge, the working fluid passes from a center axial feed pipe into the expanded mantle zone (2) of the compression zone of a twin-wall rotor (3). The flow channels (6) in the compression zone have a mass flow proportional flow cross section (4) structure. The zone of the rotor, away form the axis, has flow channels for the fluid, separated by webs (5), with a constant flow cross section where the fluid is cooled. The fluid is carried into the relaxing zone at the tapering mantle zone (2) of the rotor, with a mass flow proportional flow cross section for the flow channels.
