Overhead conveyer system for moving goods around factory has fixed beam with track for roller connected together by chain links with moving beam running on top of rollers holding suspended carriage
The fixed track beam (13) for the overhead conveyer has a trough (16) in its top surface with running surfaces (21) for rollers (22) linked together (19) to form a chain (14). As the chain is hauled along the trough, a moving beam (11) supporting the load (12) carriage (15) rolls along the tops of the rollers with the result that the carriage moves faster than the chain.
