High-power anode plate for directly cooled rotary bulb tube for x-ray use designed so that cracks caused by temperature-dependent stresses cannot propagate into the vacuum envelope
The high-power anode plate (3) consists of a high-temperature-resistant material such as tungsten, molybdenum or a combination of the two materials. The plate is designed so that cracks caused by temperature-dependent stresses cannot propagate into the vacuum envelope. The plate is arranged in a vacuum envelope (2) and contacts its interior via thermal bridges (5-7).
