Method for surface coating of regular/irregular components with flat surfaces with material application prepared for full width of outlet, but applied to surfaces only, and residue returned
Material application is prepared from a material source across the whole width of an outlet, but material is applied to the surface of passing components (9) only. Any residue is returned to the source. Material extraction and return are carried out by the same appliance. The thickness of the application is variable, by varying feed, or differential between application and feed speeds. The applicator has a material container (4) with extraction roller (6), and a full width outlet slot (7) at the bottom with an applicator roller (8) below it. This moves at the same or different speed and/or direction as the component conveyor (3) below it.
