Call detail record processing involves converting records to legible form for database, loading into database according to initialization structure data, using SQL queries and/or database procedures to detect faulty records for correction
The method involves initialization, whereby structure information is loaded from a first memory area and used to build a relational database with at least two tables with a recursive relationship forming the hierarchy, converting call detail records from a second memory area into a legible form for the database, preferably ASCII, loading into the database according to the structure information, using SQL queries and/or database procedures to detect faulty records that can be changed and storing the records in a third memory area corresponding to the original number of records.. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) software for a computer for implementing the inventive method (B) a data medium for a computer for storing inventive software (C) and a computer system for implementing the inventive method.
