Arrangement for detecting, ejecting faulty packages has sensor(s) for detecting presence of separated hose bag start end, or absence of end as signal of faulty packaging control unit ejection device
The arrangement has a separately driven pressure roller (10) that forms a working pair with a conveyor belt (5) that can be accelerated to a 2 to 4 times higher speed than a sealing roller (1) for a chain of hose bags (4) with acceleration openings (12) for the separated hose bags, a retaining device ((21) for pressing the separated hose bags on the transport path (S) during acceleration and at least one sensor (18) for detecting the presence of a start and end of a separated bag or the absence of the end as a signal of faulty packaging. A control unit (28) operates an ejection device (24). An independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a method of detecting and ejecting faulty packages.
