The device has an heat exchanging unit (15), and a commutator-release fan motor (13) with which a work piece (4) is partially or completely wrapped using a cladding material (5). The motor has an interior runner and is designed as a three-phase synchronous or asynchronous motor with a frequency converter. A nozzle unit (14) has a temperature sensor at its outlet opening for regulating exit temperature of gas flow in the unit (15).
