A micro-storage module has a void containing a liquid cell enclosed by a cover and a seal. The void is linked via a passage in a plastic base (1) to a tab- (12) covered outlet (9) to an analytical system. The cell has a thin-film plastic case and ruptures when the cover is depressed, thus discharging a measured quantity of a medicine or active ingredient through the outlet (9).
