Leak detection method in which cladding arranged around liquid containing pipelines or components contains embedded electrodes permitting leak detection by measuring resistance or capacitance changes
Method for detecting liquid leaks by means of a leak sensitive sensor, whereby the component (10) to be monitored is enclosed within sealing cladding (15) in which electrodes (20) are embedded. A sensor detects changes in resistance and or capacitance between the electrodes caused by a leak and triggers an indicator and or an alarm signal accordingly.
