Coating procedure comprises coating the outer surface of the substrate with a polymer film. The carbonation of the polymer film is performed in an oxygen free environment and at a temperature ranging from 200 to 2500 degrees Celsius. The polymer film includes additives which are selected from silicon oxides, alumina, zirconium oxides, titanium oxides. An independent claim is also included for a carbon coated substrate.
