The transmission has a housing with a differential box (16) driven by a shaft (18), side shaft gears (21,22) held turnable in the box and meshing with compensation gears (25,26) also in the box and rotating with it. Multiple disc clutches (27,28) are held on side shafts (23,24) carrying the side shaft gears. Inner clutch discs are connected to a side shaft, and outer discs are connected non-turnable to clutch boxes (33,34). There are two constant drive connections, formed by e.g. chain drives (35-38) between a countershaft (39) located parallel to the side shafts, and adjusting devices for the clutches.
